A check for $10,000 was presented to the Oglebay Foundation’s Access to Parks Program on Tuesday. The proceeds were raised during the ninth annual Bordas & Bordas Amateur Golf Classic and will help area children enjoy the benefits of the Wheeling’s public parks through free access to Oglebay Park and Wheeling Park for children that might not have the opportunity to enjoy the community resources. The Bordas & Bordas Amateur Golf Classic is the longest-running, two-day tournament in the tri-state area and is proud to continue its tradition. To date, more than $90,000 has been raised during the past nine tournaments.
