PAP Club holding Veterans Day breakfast
WHEELING - The PAP Club in Wheeling will host a Veterans Day Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 11 for all men and women veterans.
Non-member vets and first responders are welcome as well.
Veterans are encouraged to bring their medals, identification tags, hats, photos and any memorabilia.
The PAP Club is located at 4410 Jacob St., Wheeling.
Democratic Women's Club providing rides to the polls
MOUNDSVILLE -- Marshall County Democratic Women's Club will be providing rides to the polls to vote beginning Oct. 21-Oct. 31 for early voting at the Marshall County courthouse and on Nov. 3, Election Day. Veterans Council to meet Wednesday
WHEELING -- The Northern Panhandle Veterans Council, a veterans advocacy group covering the Northern Panhandle, is set to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Helping Heroes office, 41 22nd St., Wheeling, the Centre Wheeling Fellowship. All veterans and veterans’ groups are encouraged to attend.
The group meets the last Wednesday of each month. There will be no meeting in November and December due to the holiday.
