Circus Saints and Sinners Donates $3,500 to Wheeling Park Hockey

WHEELING -- Officials from the Circus Saints and Sinners Party on the Plaza music festival, alongside beer garden contributing sponsors, presented a ceremonial check for $3,500 to the Wheeling Park High School Hockey Club on Monday.

Festival Founder and Chairman Paul Smith lauded the club and sponsors for their contributions to the success of the event.

"The beer garden contributing sponsors directly fund the donation that we make to Park Hockey in appreciation of the volunteer staffing they provide for us," Smith said. "The hockey parents and players are an essential part of our team--handling the gate, beer garden operations, site cleanliness and the set up and tear down at the plaza."

Smith noted that over its six-year history, the festival has donated $22,000 to local high school booster organizations that provide volunteer support for the event.

Sponsors represented at the check presentation included Domino's Pizza, Carenbauer Distributing, Robinson Law Firm, Mountaineer Brewfest and the Beth Hinebaugh for House of Delegates campaign.
