The students at St. Michael Parish School learned the effects of gravity once again Thursday afternoon as the school held its annual pumpkin drop. Groups of students got together to devise contraptions in which they would encase their pumpkins, and then St. Michael Principal Adrianne Manning would toss them off the school roof. The students would then have a time limit to open the package and see if their pumpkin survived the fall.
