Among the features of this year’s Ohio County Country Fair is Quilt for the Cure, presented by Neighborhood Ford Store. It is an opportunity for fairgoers to make quilt squares with inspirational messages for those battling breast cancer. Those squares will then be fashioned into quilts, which will hang in cancer centers throughout the region. The Zeta Tau Alpha chapter at Bethany College helps annually in this endeavor, and Neighborhood Ford Store presents a donation to the Beth Mayer Hersh Scholarship, given to two winners in the Zeta Tau Alpha chapter in memory of Hersh, a ZTA alumna who died from breast cancer. Pictured are, from left, Mike DeArdo of Shults Ford, Ashley Subasic, president of the Ohio Valley ZTA Alumni Chapter, and Shelby Cascioli and Victoria Wehrberger, members of Bethany’s ZTA chapter.
