Local Groups Get Partnership Grants From Wheeling Heritage

WHEELING – Seven local organizations now have more funds to help them achieve a planned project for the community. Wheeling Heritage has awarded Partnership Grants to organizations and businesses for projects “that advance historic preservation, community development, and the arts in Wheeling.” The grants are awarded across five categories: education and interpretation, small business development, arts, recreation, and fairs and festivals. Spring Is In The Air

WHEELING – After weeks of snow drifts, gray skies and barren landscape, a colorful event is set to bloom late next month at The Highlands Sports Complex. A spring craft show, organized by KC Productions, will take place March 27-29 at the complex. Doors on Friday and Saturday will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the hours on Sunday are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. At least 130 vendors will be present, with up to 150 spaces available, according to Kevin Carroll of KC Productions.
