One person was killed in a traffic accident on Interstate 70 westbound late Wednesday afternoon.

According to Dick Quinlin, public information officer for the Bethesda Fire Department, the crash involved two tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle, killing one person and halting traffic for several hours.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was on scene with an accident reconstruction team.
