Three new COVID-19 Cases Reported in Ohio County

The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department received confirmation of three new positive COVID-19 case in Ohio County. Currently, the health department reports 52 positive cases, including one death. Case surveillance, contact tracing and monitoring continues for many of the reported cases.

The special testing clinics that were held on June 5 and June 6 at Laughlin Chapel resulted in 558 tests, including 5 positive results.

Ohio County and Ohio Valley residents are advised to limit public contact, implement social distancing, work at home where possible, wear a face covering when out in public or at work, wash your hands frequently and contact your personal physician if you become ill with fever, cough, or difficulty breathing.
