The Wheeling Park swimming pool is now scheduled to reopen at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 20, as park crews continue to make repairs to the shell of the pool after paint did not cure and dry properly, causing officials to close the pool and drain it earlier in the week. According to park officials, they expect to complete the necessary repairs and inspect the pool before refilling it this coming week. Park officials said they will be offering Wheeling Park wristbands at half price Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, good for various park activities, including the swimming pool and water slide, in an effort to welcome patrons back to the park.
