Barring COVID-19 map change, Ohio County Schools to have four-day in-person instruction starting next week

WHEELING — Superintendent Kim Miller on Wednesday announced that starting next week, Ohio County Schools will move to its Level 1 instruction plan, meaning students will physically be in class Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with Wednesday as a virtual day.

The county on Wednesday went gold according to the state’s COVID-19 map. In-person instruction will happen if the county is green, yellow or gold; orange or red will lead to immediate virtual education.
