Blame My Roots Fest, a country music event established in July 2019, will return to Valley View Campgrounds July 16-17, 2021 with one of Nashville's biggest names as its headliner, as platinum recording artist Miranda Lambert will take the stage on Saturday, July 17.
Lambert, an American country music singer and songwriter, has released hits like "Kerosene," "Gunpowder and Lead," "The House That Built Me," and "Mama's Broken Heart," soaring to the top of country music charts everywhere. Her single "Bluebird" was named CMA's 2020 Music Video of the Year.
Lambert has been honored with more Academy of Country Music Awards than any artist in history, having recently passed Reba McEntire.
Blame My Roots Fest Event Coordinator Chris Dutton said that he and his sister, Nina, are thrilled to be able to bring Miranda Lambert to the Ohio Valley for both local and regional audiences.
"We targeted Miranda Lambert because the chances of seeing her are limited for this part of the country. For 2021, you'd have to drive 5 hours from the Valley to see her perform. We think this will help draw a great crowd! We just got lucky with her having so many CMA nominations this year."
Joining Lambert are 2020 CMA award winner Lee Brice, Jamboree in the Hills favorite Neal McCoy, Jo Dee Messina, Tenille Townes, Niko Moon, Allie Colleen, Adam Doleac and Walker Montgomery.
