WELLSBURG -- The Wellsburg bridge is nearly ready to drop into place.
What was set to be a two-day float and lift of the main span of the Wellsburg bridge is now one, as state officials Monday said changing wind conditions set for Tuesday will force them to also lift the span starting this morning.
