A Wheeling student is now the proud owner of a full scholarship to a West Virginia college or university, thanks to the state’s vaccination sweepstakes.
Rocco DiGiandomenico was one of three West Virginia students announced Thursday morning as full scholarship winners in the second round of the “Do It For Babydog” vaccination sweepstakes. Gov. Jim Justice instituted a second round of prize drawings to reinvigorate COVID-19 vaccination rates around the state.
Other prizes in this round include a luxury sports car, free gas for 10 years, a $150,000 dream wedding and Marshall and WVU season ticket packages, among other prizes.
