Moundsville Man In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Vehicle

A Moundsville man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Moundsville, Moundsville Police Chief Tom Mitchell said.

Mitchell said the incident happened around 10 a.m. Thursday morning on First Street and Jefferson Avenue. MPD is not releasing the victim’s name, but Mitchell said he is a Moundsville resident in his 50s.

The motorist did stop after the collision, Mitchell said. MPD officers continue to investigate.
