More than 7,000 Now Without Power In Ohio, Marshall Counties
The strong winds that have been blowing Saturday around the Northern Panhandle have led to numerous power outages in the region, according to the AEP outage map.
As of 7:15 p.m. Saturday, the map showed 7,049 without power in AEP’s coverage area in the Northern Panhandle. Those outages are concentrated in the Wheeling area, where 1,764 are without power, and in Marshall County where 5,285 are without power.
According to the map, AEP is currently assessing the conditions with the outages. Estimated restoration times have not been posted.
