WEST LIBERTY -- The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce and partner Grand Vue Park are recognizing their May Employee of the Month as West Liberty University External Affairs Coordinator Kara Conners.
Alumni Director Amanda Bennett said, "Kara is literally the glue to our External Affairs Department, six staff members in this department and she is always willing to help each and everyone of us.
"She attends most of the events, helps/assists with creative videos and website updates and covers shifts at different campus sites, she is truly a team player, caring person and a great friend."
The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Employee of the Month Program is for chamber members who have an outstanding employee that goes above and beyond the requirements of their job and deserves to be recognized.
Present for the recognition were Chamber Director Scott Reager and WLU employees Phil Carl, Kara Conners, Amanda Bennett, Betsy Delk and Kyle Lutz.
