Workers with Triton Construction pave a portion of the Main Street sidewalk near River's Edge on Wednesday as part of the Downtown Streetscape Project. Bronze footprint markers have been added to that section to show the path Betty Zane took from Fort Henry to the powder house and back, carrying gunpowder to replenish the fort's stock. Textured concrete blocks depicting the outline of Fort Henry and the powder house can be found at other spots on Main Street.
