An 18-year-old Wheeling man was charged Friday with DUI causing death in the crash that killed Wheeling Park High School student Devin Sovinsky.

According to a Wheeling Police Department release, Cory Joseph Sipos was charged with one felony count of DUI causing death. Sipos was arraigned Friday morning in front of an Ohio County magistrate and was released on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.

The crash occurred along Bethany Pike in the early morning hours of July 18, killing Sovinsky. Sipos was the driver of the car. Another passenger was injured in the crash.
