Charlie Reynolds Resigns From W.Va. House Of Delegates

WHEELING - Delegate Charlie Reynolds has informed House Speaker Roger Hanshaw he is resigning a member of the House of Delegates.

Reynolds, R-Marshall, represents the 6th Delegate District. He informed Hanshaw by letter today.

House of Delegates spokeswoman Ann Ali confirmed that Reynolds hand-delivered his resignation letter Friday. He posted the letter on his Facebook page.

"This decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration of my personal and professional priorities," Reynolds stated in the letter.

He continues that he has "decided to pursue a different path in my life, one that requires my full attention and dedication. I believe this decision is in the best interest of both my constituents and myself."

Reynolds has served in the House of Delegates since 2020.
