Weather forces cancellation of Friday schedule for OVAC Wrestling and Swimming tournaments

WHEELING -- Ohio Valley Athletic Conference officials have canceled the Friday schedule for the 70th annual Ron Mauck OVAC Wrestling Championships and the small school portion of the Bill Brubaker OVAC Swimming Championships due to weather.
For the wrestling tournament, all Friday matches have been moved to Saturday.
The new schedule, according to the OVAC, has competition starting at WesBanco Arena at 10 a.m. and running until 3:30 p.m. Following a two-hour break, the competition resumes at 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the big school portion of the swimming championships will now start at noon instead of 11 a.m. The small schools likely will swim Monday at Brooke High School.
