Wheeling Park Speech And Debate Wins 44th State Title

The road to a 44th state championship came to an end for the Wheeling Park High School Speech and Debate team -- and the state trophy was there waiting.
The Patriots extended their amazing streak at this weekend's state tournament at West Virginia University. It also marks the first state title without Bill Cornforth, who retired as head coach at the end of last year.
This year's coaches include Kayla Nelson, Isabella Droginske and Jen Mathieu.
