A Wheeling man was arrested Saturday night following both a vehicle chase and a chase on foot, according to the Wheeling Police Department

Ricardo Stephen Harrison, 46, was arrested on charges of fleeing, possession with intent to deliver and driving while license is revoked for DUI. He is currently being held at Northern Regional Jail on $15,000 bond.

According to the WPD, at around 11:20 p.m. Saturday, officers attempted to stop a vehicle around South Broadway and Ohio streets on Wheeling Island when the driver allegedly sped away. A chase ensued that ended on Vermont Street, where the suspect fled on foot.

Officers caught and arrested Harrison. One officer sustained minor injuries from the incident.
