Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz makes stop in Martins Ferry as part of three-day Ohio tour
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the Democrat Party’s vice presidential candidate in the 2024 election, appears Monday at the United Steelworkers of America Local 1238 in Martins Ferry, holding his first event of several during a three-day tour of Ohio. Former Ohio Gov. and U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland, an Ohio Democrat, joined him at the local stop. Walz also will hold a town hall Monday evening in Youngstown, with that event set for 7 p.m. at the DeYor Performing Arts Center on West Federal Street.
