MOUNDSVILLE -- The bodies of two Buffalo, New York, couples who were reported missing in Marshall County were found Saturday.
Marshall County Sheriff Mike Dougherty said via social media that the four people -- Dr. Kishore Divan, Asha Divan, Shailesh Divan, and Gita Divan -- were found dead where their vehicle, a light green Toyota Camry, had crashed off of Big Wheeling Creek Road.
The vehicle was found about 9:30 p.m. Saturday over a steep embankment.
First responders worked at the scene for more than five hours. Dougherty expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
The group, all in their 80s, had been traveling from New York to stay at the Palace of Gold in Marshall County. They were reported missing on July 29.
"Further information will be released upon the completion of the investigation," he noted in the social media post.
