The next step in Wheeling Park All-State football player Brennan Wack’s journey in the sport is to the Ivy League.
Wack, the two-time Curt Warner Award winner as West Virginia’s top high school running back, has committed to Yale, his family confirmed Wednesday on social media.
In just two seasons at the position as a Patriot, Wack became the program’s career leader in rushing yards (4,337) and rushing touchdowns (57). He also finished as the only Park player with two 2,000-yard rushing seasons, and has the most 200-yard games (11) and 300-yard games (three) in school history. He owns the Patriots’ top four single-game rushing outputs of all time, and the school’s single-game touchdown record. In all, Wack broke 19 school records throughout just two years at tailback.
