STEUBENVILLE — A body was found Tuesday in the 100 block of North Commercial Alley in Steubenville, Police Chief Ken Anderson said.

Anderson said the body was discovered around 2 p.m.

“Upon arrival, officers located a male subject next to a building,” he said. “The subject was confirmed (dead). ”

He said the scene was turned over to detectives and “the matter is now under investigation.”
