More Than 1,700 Without Power Due To Outages In Ohio, Marshall Counties

More than 1,700 Appalachian Power customers are without power Tuesday morning due to outages in Ohio and Marshall counties, according to Appalachian Power’s outage map.

The largest concentrations of outages are a narrow swath from Moundsville to past Oglebay Park of 1,261 customers and another cluster around Bethlehem of 299 customers. The narrow strip is estimated to be restored by 1 p.m. and the Bethlehem area is estimated to be restored by 2 p.m.

Traffic lights may be out in those areas. Treat those intersections as a four-way stop.
