There were no injuries following a Friday morning explosion and fire at a Marshall County well pad, Marshall County EMA Director Tom Hart said.
The Marshall County 911 center received a call at 6:58 a.m. Friday about an explosion at the EQT Hines Pad on Campbell Hill in Limestone. A condensate tank on the well pad had exploded.
Firefighters had the fire out by 7:45 a.m. A cause for the explosion is under investigation.
The Limestone VFD, Moundsville VFD, Marshall County EMS, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall County EMA all responded and the Marshall County Tank Task Force was activated.
