Wheeling Park High School currently is on lockdown as law enforcement investigates an unsubstantiated threat at the school, said Ohio County Schools communication director Karin Butyn.
An alert that went out to parents said law enforcement is going through the school with metal detectors to investigate. No one is being allowed in or out of the school at this time. Parents will continue to receive periodic notifications on the investigation through the school district’s messaging system.
