JOSEPH L. BYARD
Joseph L. Byard, 74, went home to be with his Lord, while he was visiting family in Arizona, Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
He was born March 8, 1941, in Glen Dale, W.Va., a son of Howard and Jennette Byard.
Joe was a charter member of Journey Christian Church. He was retired from Packard Electric after 40 years of service. Aside from the Lord, his greatest joys were his wife, children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He enjoyed walking outdoors and visiting with friends along the way.
Surviving Joe are: his wife, Jan of Painesville, Ohio, whom he married on November 3, 1962; three daughters, Terri (Kevin) Dunmire of El Mirage, AZ, Debbie (Dennis) Schneider of Clearwater, FL, Susan (Bill) Gifford of Niles, OH; four grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild; two sisters, Naomi Noble and Wanda Rice.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Byard, and one sister, Mary Reynolds.
A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
