Helen May Bruno Carroll, 88, of Wellsburg, WV formerly of Wheeling, WV died on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV.
She was born December 4, 1929 in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Louis and Pearl Elizabeth Van Camp Bruno.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Wellsburg, WV, a former member of the Hope United Methodist Church in Wheeling, WV, a homemaker and loved Elvis Presley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Mitchell Carroll, Sr. in 1998; her twin sister, Wilma Fay Schafer and a brother, Charles Ray Bruno.
Surviving are her daughters and son, Barbara J. Stephens of Wellsburg, WV, Susan May (Paul) Muniz of Green River, WY, Ernest Mitchell (Bonita) Carroll, Jr of Wheeling, WV and Betty J. (Jeff) Burrier of Wellsburg, WV; eight grandchildren, Ira and Adam Stephens, Paul "P.J", Jr. and James (Marsha) Muniz, Jessica (Calvin) Paige, Morgan Carroll, John, Jr. and Aaron Coen; 12 great grandchildren, her loved cats, Snowball and Cotton and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311), where services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry LeMasters officiating.
Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard, WV.
