John “Jack” Floyd Renshaw Jr., 90, of Dimmeydale, Wheeling, WV, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital’s Continuous Care Center.

He was born July 22, 1929, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late John Floyd Renshaw, Sr. and Leah Bero Renshaw. He grew up in Brookside, Ohio. He was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and West Liberty University.

Jack served as a First Lieutenant pilot in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Iceland and Maine as part of the Air Defense Command during the Korean conflict. He was a Salesman at Wheeling Corrugating Company for 36 years. In retirement he enjoyed working at Oglebay’s Jones golf course.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sandra Jean Huggins Renshaw; daughter, Jean-Anne (Daniel Devine) Renshaw; son, John “Jeff” F. (Vivian) Renshaw; granddaughter, May Anne Devine; and two grandsons, William Duncan Renshaw and Connor John Renshaw. His grandchildren were his greatest joy.

Jack donated his body to science to the WVU Human Gift Registry for a better understanding of Pulmonary Fibrosis, the lung disease he lived with for 13 years.
