VINCENT BROOKS
Vincent West Brooks 75, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Wellsburg, WV passed away March 1, 2020 at Peterson Rehab Center, Wheeling, WV.
He was born September 6, 1944 in Wilkinsburg, PA to the late Robert B. and Esther Mae West Brooks.
He worked as a machinist at Weirton Steel Corp. with 33 years of service, was a member of the American Legion and was a Navy Veteran of eight years serving during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Coleman.
He is survived by his wife, Johnna Jo Gribben Brooks; a son, John V. Brooks (Amanda) of Moundsville, WV; a daughter, Catherine Jo Brooks of St. Clairsville, OH; a sister, Ruth Jane Minda of Wellsburg, WV; a granddaughter, Fionna Morgan Brooks. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2020 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, with Pastor Lori Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV with full military graveside rites by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
