ROBERT YEATER II
Robert L. Yeater II, 34, of Wheeling, left this world for his heavenly home, Friday, June 19, 2020.
Known as Bobby by his friends and family, he was an avid sports fan and never missed a WVU game of any kind, and loved all things Pittsburgh, especially his beloved Steelers. He was a graduate of Wheeling Park, Belmont College, and West Liberty University, with a BS in Business and Marketing.
Bobby is survived by his devoted father, Robert L. Yeater, and step-mother, Wendy; his mother, Melissa Conner; two adoring sisters, Kayla, and Katelyn and her finacee, Tyler Settle; two half-siblings, Kaden and Addison Conner; paternal grandmothers, Jeanette Yeater and Linda Redmond; maternal grandmother, Patricia Ralbusky and her husband, Roger; several special aunts, uncles and cousins; and so many friends who were like family.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William M. Yeater Jr., and Charles L. Dillon; a great-grandmother, Betty (Maw) Straight; and more friends than their ever should have been.
In honor of Bobby’s love of sports, we ask that any that come to pay their respects, wear your WVU or Steelers attire, the family will be.
Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020, with Rev. Msgr. Kevin M. Quirk officiating. Entombment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Wheeling.
