Richard W. Riddle, 86, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Charleston, WV, died Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at home.
He was born May 28, 1934 in St. Albans, WV, the son of the late Bernard E. and Gladys Cleora Barker Riddle.
He was a self-employed carpenter; and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Jeanne Sovine Riddle in 2015; and a son, Roy Sovine Jr.
Surviving are his five children, Joanna Hein of Nitro, WV; Susan (Stanley) Clark of Poca, WV; Mary Batten of Charleston; Peggy (Steve) Kyer of Spencer, WV; and Steve (Kim) Sovine of Montross, VA; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Private family services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
