Paul Arnold Negri, 89, of Follansbee, Wv passed December 14, 2020 peacefully at home with his loving family at his side. He was born July 15, 1931 in Wheeling, WV to the late Pete and Valerie (Eskey) Negri of Beech Bottom, WV. He graduated in 1949 from Wellsburg High School, and served in the Navy from 1952-56. He was married the late Mary Rose (Silver) Negri. They had three children together, the late Arnold (Barb) Negri, surviving Allen (Lorraine) Negri, Tim and Carla (Negri) Morris.
Grandchildren: Bryan, Alyssa, Ashleigh and Macey Negri, Ian and Zac Morris, step children: the late James and Charlene (Price) Ennis, step grandchildren: Tammy (Price) Reichle and James (Henreitta) Price and three great grandchildren.
Surviving sibling is Delores (Negri) Giles the late Joe and Roger Negri, Angiline (Negri) DuVall.
He was a Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel retiree at the Beech Bottom plant with 40 years of service and he was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church of Follansbee, WV.
Paul was well known to be a tentative son to his mother, faithful husband to his wife, loving father to his children, and a loyal friend/pap to all.
His passion was his family, gardening, and making something out of nothing. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to our local food bank or charity of your choice is recommended by family.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will begin at 12 Noon at the St. Anthony Catholic Church Follansbee, WV with Father Jude Perrara as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Grove cemetery, Follansbee WV with full military grave side rites by the Ohio Valley Veteran Memorial Squad. Online condolences can be made to ReasnerofWellsburg.com.
