Beverly Lou Wilke Handley, 90, of Wheeling, formerly of Wellsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born March 8, 1932, in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Edward C. and Anna Mae Grove Wilke.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Ramond E. Handley (deceased 2007); three sons in law, George Ravotti, Stanley Isleman, and Gregory Orwick; two sisters, Shirley Ehler, and Marianne Laruffo; one brother, Charles Wilke; two daughters, Karen Sue Ravotti and Charlene Fay Isleman.
Surviving are her children, Timothy Ray Handley (Rose), Cynthia Lou Orwick, and Valerie J. Scott (Robert); sister, Christina Kovalchie; brother, Ronald Wilke; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Holly.
Beverly was a homemaker, Lutheran by faith, made cakes and crocheted. She loved playing bingo, traveling, and gardening, but most of all she loved taking great care of all her family.
Friends will be received at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-242-2311) on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
