Marvin Richardson Bennett, 96, of McMechen, WV, passed away on Saturday, January14, 2023 at his residence.
Marvin was born on May 21, 1926 in Glen Dale, WV, son of the late, William Harrison Bennett and Olive Mae (Richardson) Bennett.
He was a retired Foreman for Marx Toys, member of the American Legion Post #5 and the Moundsville VFW and a US Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Bennett; 3 sons, Tom and Gary Bennett and John Bowman and also 2 sisters, Frances Nilsson and Bessie Bowman.
Surviving are his sister-in-law, Jean Pyle of McMechen, WV; 2 daughters-in-law, Leandra Bowman and Cherie Bennett;6 grandsons, John & Chris Bowman, Tom, Bob and Rick Bennett and Michael Forester and his great grandchildren.
Per Marvin's request, there will be no services at this time.
