Diane Lee (Breiding) Russell, 67, of McMechen, WV, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
She was born on August 28, 1955, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late Thomas and Lois (Hoyt) Breiding.
Diane was a retired employee of Reynolds Memorial Hospital, where she worked in the dietary department, loved being outdoors, gardening, baking, cooking, and spending time with her close family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother, her strength and wisdom was an inspiration to us all.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Russell.
Survivors include her two children, Deana (Tony) Ferrera of Florence, SC, and David Russell of Wheeling, WV; 4 grandchildren, Lucas and Kane Russell and Grace and Mia Ferrera; two grand-pups, Oliver and Ruby and a few special friends, Justin Hall, Karen Carpenter, and Melinda Masters and neighbors, Chad Thornton and family.
Per Diane's request, there will be no services held at this time.
