Fredrick Russell Stradwick, 71, of Wheeling passed away on Thursday February 23, 2023, at home surrounded by family.
He was born in Wheeling on July 19, 1951, son of the late Rueben and Ethel (Pritchard) Stradwick, Sr.
Fred retired from PPG after 27 years of service. He was loved by many and was a good husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He was a great dancer and was the champion of Pounce.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, seven brothers, Dave, Johnnie, Thomas, Alfred, Robert, Reuben, Jr., Courtney; one sister, Antionette; brother-in-law, Richard Harris.
Fred is survived by his wife, Darlene (Daugherty) Stradwick; children, Dionna Smith (Clifton), Tisa Bradley (James), LaShona Bradley, Shameka Bradley (Robert), Tray Martin Stradwick, Justin Daugherty, Alexia Daugherty; 2 brothers, Cornell, Anthony, Sr.; 5 sisters, Connie Grim, Lenore Harris, Linda Scott, Brenda Sparksman, Darlene Stradwick; host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, 1 great- great-grandchild, nieces, nephewsnd his 3 best friends, Joe Johnson, Mike Wilson, and Dave Denard.
Family and Friends will be received on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 10 am until the time of the service at 12 noon, at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242- 2311).
Interment will follow in Stone Church Cemetery.
