James Edward (Jim) Bock, 77 of St. Clairsville died January 29th, 2023 @ WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
Born to Arnold and Mildred Sorge Bock in Wheeling WV on June 30th, 1945. He was a Principal in Ohio County for 30 years until he retired.
He was a 15 year survivor of a heart transplant. His loves were cooking, golf and tennis. He graduated from Wheeling High School in 1963 and was a graduate of West Liberty University and University of Pittsburgh with two master's Degrees.
Surviving are wife, Kathleen (Kathie) of 37 years, his daughter Trisha Garlow Kichi and her children Sarah and Turner James (TJ) stepson Andrew Dorisio (Emily) grandchildren Sophia, Emma and Allison.
He loved being a "Pap". 3 dogs Lily Ralphie and Henry were his pride and joy. Jim lived his life in his own "way".
Also surviving brother Arnold Buck Bock and sister Barbara Michaels and several nephews and nieces. He had many dear friends and neighbors. Thanks to Reynolds Staff (2 North) Stonerise Hospice, Amedisys Hospice and Cumberland Fire Department.
Arrangements by Neptune Cremation Society. Per his wishes there will be no services or visitation.
A Memorial gathering will be held this summer with plenty of his favorite drinks.
