John Kenneth Gerrek Sr., 88, of Middleburg Heights, OH, formerly of Wheeling, passed away on Sunday February 19, 2023.
He was born on October 9, 1934 in Wellsburg, WV son of the late Michael and Susan (Sabol) Gerrek.
John was a graduate of Triadelphia HS, and a proud retiree of the Ford Motor Casting Plant as General Supervisor.
He was an avid bowler, devoted Browns fan, loved gardening and working on jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Jane (Marshall) Gerrek and a brother, Mike Gerrek.
He is survived by his children, John (Sherry) Gerrek, Jr., Judy (Paul) Klomfahs, Diane Neubauer, Darlene (John) Monde; granddaughter, Erin Gerrek; sister, Millie (Phillip) Lewis; and great- grandfather and uncle to many.
Services and interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Park were private. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling.
