Laura Ruby Fast Bernier, 67, of Wheeling, WV, died Thursday, February 16, 2023.
She was born March 23, 1955 in Sulphur, LA, daughter of Donald Harry Fast and the late Barbara Leah Perry Fast.
Ruby was a homemaker and attended Rio Hondo Junior College. She was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Bible study at Continuous Care Center.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Joseph Bernier; father-in-law, Alvin Bernier; and mother-in-law, Gloria Bernier.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Heather Dawn Bernier; granddaughter, Lydia Bernier; grandson, Owen Joseph Garrison; sister, Barbara Dian Church; sister-in-law, Karen Bernier Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 5 PM at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 976 Chapel Hill Rd., Triadelphia, WV 26059.
Interment in Stone Church Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
