Ralph W. Preston, age 88, formerly of New Martinsville, WV passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Park Health Care Center, St. Clairsville, OH.
He was born April 24, 1934, in Proctor, WV, son of the late Willilam Orion and Bertha Cara (Anderson) Preston.
Ralph was retired from Bayer Corp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Shelby Jean Moore, and his 2nd wife Shirley (Dalrymple) Preston; 3 sisters, Hazel Snyder, and Georgia Perry and Virginia Erlewine.
Survivors include 2 sons, Gregory Preston, and Mark Preston both of New Martinsville; 2 daughters, Pamela Jean (Les) Riggenbach of Adena, OH and Darla Roseann (John Lively) Merckle of Summerfield, OH: sister Bessie Kuhl of New Martinsville, WV; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Barry Hall officiating.
Interment in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville.
