Sharon L. (Thomann) Russell, 76, of Wheeling, WV passed away at WVU Medicine-Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Sharon was born to the late Arthur and Mabel (McClure) Thomann in Wheeling, WV on April 21, 1946.
A Catholic by Faith, Sharon was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and a past member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Alter Society.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth E. Russell (2006).
Left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life is her step-son, Jonathan (Erin) Russell; grandchildren, Josie and Kelsey; sister, Terry (William) Dobrzynski; niece, Bridget (Jeff) Edge; great-niece, Breanne Dobrzynski, and great-nephew Dougie Lucas.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home located at 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV. A Funeral Mass for Sharon will be held Monday, February 27, 2023 at 12:00, noon, at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Wheeling, WV.
