Victoria L. "Vicki" Novick, age 64 of Glen Dale, WV died Friday, February 10, 2023 in WVU Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, WV.
She was born August 11, 1958 in Glen Dale, the daughter of John and Wanda V. Porter DeTemple of Washington Lands.
She was a member of St. James & St. Jude Catholic Churches; a graduate of Bishop Donahue High School and Wheeling Jesuit University, where she received her degree in nuclear medicine; retired from EORH as Director of Radiology; worked at OVMC and Wetzel County Hospital in both, Radiology and Oncology; and was a member of WV Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners; where she previously served on the board.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Christine DeTemple Norris; and a brother-in-law, Bill Novick.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Victor Novick; three sons, Matthew (Natalie) Novick of Bethlehem, WV, Eric (Jessica) Novick of Germantown, MD, and Jonathan (Joselyn) Novick of Glen Dale; two sisters, Lisa (Brad) McElfresh of Bridge- port, WV, and Tracy Richmond of Colliers, WV; four grandchildren, Aubrey, Conor, Raelynn, and Colton, and a grandchild on the way, Evan Novick; and her best friend, Judy Rulong.
Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until time of funeral service at 3pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Fr. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating.
Private Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
