Charles W. Kammer, 95, of Wheeling, WV passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
Charles was born January 7, 1928 in Wheeling, WV to the late Joseph and Manetta Kammer.
Charles was an established auto mechanic and business owner of Kammer Motors, as well as a Navy Veteran.
In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon; brother, Joseph; Sisters, Rosemary and Theresa.
Charles is survived by his 5 children, Linda (Butch) Silva, Donna Danehart, Joseph (Molly) Kammer, David Kammer, and Mary Shive; 2 sisters, Manette Freismuth and Marcella Link; 11 Grandchildren; and 14 Great grandchildren.
Friends will be received March 30, 2023 from 6pm-8pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home- Elm Grove Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will take place Friday, March 31 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church at 11am. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
