Donna Darlene "DeeDee" Blake, 56, of Glen Easton, WV went home with the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Donna was born to the late Charles Edward and Laura Hazel (Weston) Blake on May 11, 1966 in Moundsville, WV. She was a Methodist by faith and an active member of Lynn Camp United Methodist Church. Donna was a very proud 4-H All Star and Evershining 4-H Leader. She found joy in just about every part of life including telling stories, playing horseshoes, and singing with her siblings. Donna never knew a stranger and made a friend out of everyone she met.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Blake, and two (2) sisters, Janet Freshwater and Carolyn Freshwater.
Left to cherish her memory and celebrate her life are her children, Paul (Anna) Blake II of St. Albans, WV and Dillon (Allison) Blake of Proctor, WV; sister, Shirley (Melvin) Jones of McMechen, WV; bro- ther, Michael (Rusty) Blake of Newark, OH; former husband and friend, Paul "Rick" Blake; sister-in-law Connie Blake; brother-in-law Kevin Freshwater; several nieces and nephews; many close friends and her beloved fur-baby, Ellie Mae.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Friday, March 17, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, WV with Rev Mike Piekarski. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville, WV
