Edith Lorraine Megale, 78, of Wheeling, WV died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in the Stonerise Kingwood Nursing Home.
She was born October 25, 1944 at Canton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Kelsey E. Cross and Mary Edith Emery Cross.
Mrs. Megale was a homemaker and she attended the Wheeling- Seven Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Roy Glen Ashcraft of Mt. Clare; Kelsey R. Ashcraft of Proctor, and Norman Ashcraft of Littleton; two daughters, Kristine L. Smith of Terra Alta and Judith Rhoten of Hampstead, MD; one step-daughter, Vickie Walters of Warner Robbins, GA; one brother, Wayne Cross of Philippi; two sisters, Faye Rockaway of Wheeling and Judy Tucker of Moundsville; several grandchildren, and several great-grand- children.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Ashcraft; second husband, Donald Megale; and a brother, Henry Cross.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2023. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 25, 2023 with Pastor Larry Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in the Sancho Cemetery near Hundred.
