JANET FOSTER

Janetlee Evelyn "Whipkey" Foster, 87, of Moundsville, WV left this world on Friday, March 24 surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born May 31, 1935 in Marshall County, WV to the late Herbert and Essie "Gladys" Riggle Whipkey.

She was a loving, devoted and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved sitting on her back porch enjoying her many flowers and watching the birds. She took great pleasure in traveling to and spending time in Ohio's Amish Country. She also enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting. She crocheted many different items, such as blankets, baby afghans and everyone's favorite duo, Floyd and Myrtle, that she would often gift to family and friends. She was a Baptist by faith and found delight in reading spiritual literature and listening to hymns.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers, Arnold, Donald, Gaylord "Andrew," Robert and Ronald Whipkey and an infant sister, Charlotte Whipkey.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William R. "Bill" Foster; four children, Kerry (Cindy) Foster of Glen Dale, Kevin (Jennifer) Foster of Moundsville, Cathy (Bruce) Givens of Wheeling and Dawna Foster of Moundsville; eight grandchildren, Karah (Mark) Sambuco, Ryne (Jeni Porter) Foster, Lacy (Jeff) Trigg,

Blythe Givens, Carly (Josh) Goddard, Kit Foster, Malachi Kendzierski and Micah (Dakota) Meyer; eleven great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
